The irregular Douppioni Slubs used in these cloths closely resemble the most expensive yarns used in the fabrication of silk. The only thing missing are the actual silkworms and cocoons. Utilizing a hand stitching technique to create the raised patterning effect, we are able to obtain a highly decorative look suitable for multiple uses. The goods are fire resistant as well and, therefore, can be utilized in most contract applications.  Please note, pattern repeats in hand stitched fabrics may vary slightly and there may be some irregularities in hand stitched fabrics which are part of the inherent beauty of the fabric and should not be considered a defect.
